Job Description

The Yale PET Center has immediate openings for highly qualified individuals at the post-doctoral level to work on research related to the in vitro and in vivo evaluations of PET tracers for neurological and oncological studies.
The Yale PET Center is a state-of-the-art facility that includes Organic Synthesis, Radiochemistry, Metabolism, and PET imaging laboratories to develop and evaluate novel radiopharmaceuticals in animals and humans. Our multidisciplinary teams consist of highly experienced chemists, imaging physicists, PET modelers, biologists, physicians, and computational scientists. We work collaboratively to solve urgent human health challenges, i.e., early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, diabetes, heart diseases, etc.

Required Skills

The candidate should be self-motivated, experienced in biochemistry, molecular biology, and pharmacology experimental skills, and able to manage multiple projects. Prior experience with PET imaging, binding assay, or autoradiography studies is preferred but not required. Applicants should have obtained or anticipate receiving a Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related fields.
